FAQ

Here you can find answers about the collection, upcoming exhibitions, educational initiatives, and how to get involved. Our goal is to make Fellini’s world accessible to everyone who shares a passion for cinema, art, and cultural preservation.

How did the Fellini Forever Collection come to Canada?

The collection was brought to Canada through a private acquisition from Rome, ensuring Federico Fellini’s creative legacy could be preserved and shared with new audiences around the world. Its arrival marks the first time these treasures have been curated and exhibited outside of Italy.

What does the collection include, and how large is it?

The archive holds more than 1,500 artifacts — including over 250 original film reels, scripts, drawings, costumes, posters, photographs, desk, and personal notes — offering a rare glimpse into Fellini’s creative world. It is considered the most extensive private Fellini collection in existence.

Are these all original pieces owned by Fellini himself?

Yes. Every item in the collection is authentic and once belonged to Federico Fellini, many of which were kept in his private office at Cinecittà Studios in Rome.

Who looked after these items after Fellini’s passing?

After Fellini’s death in 1993, his longtime friend and production manager, Roberto Mannoni, together with his wife Charlotte, carefully preserved and catalogued the materials at Cinecittà. Their stewardship ensured the integrity and completeness of what is now the Fellini Forever Collection.
